Candy Violet is all about making shopping for vintage style more like the way people did it back in the day, back when this was the style, and everything was made together special, shiny and new.

Today we hunt around vintage stores and sites looking for the perfect storm of style and size, and it can be a lot of fun, almost like a sport! But all those vintage lovelies we admire had a different experience all together. Their favorite designers worked to put their spin on everything from the hat on the head, to the dress, right down to the stockings and shoes on the feet. I always dreamed of being able to enjoy the chic styles of yesterday in such a cared for way.

As a designer I hope to bring this part of the vintage lifestyle back for myself and my fellow vintage fans. I want us to feel spoiled and catered to the same way all over again!

Candy Violet is a place where you can shop like the lady who first owned your favorite 1950's cocktail dress shopped. You can pick up the dress you love and know it comes in your size, and color. To be able to pick up the perfect brooch to pin to it, and the perfect hat to finish it off with. To feel truly glamorous, and polished. To shop like the vintage lady we all deep down know we are.
